What is Malic Acid?
Malic Acid is closely related to Citric Acid, Vitamin C, which is found naturally in a wide range of foods including green apples. Malic Acid can be quite tart and bitter, and has been used for many years as flavouring in a variety of different sweets providing a sharp and tangy taste. Malic Acid is one of the main fruit acids, and is produced naturally in a range of plants, most notably in apples.
Benefits of Malic Acid
Malic Acid is naturally occurring in small quantities in a variety of foods, for maximum benefits it is necessary to supplement the diet with sources of Malic Acid in order to enjoy its full effects. Malic Acid powder contains 100% Malic Acid.
Who is Malic Acid suitable for?
Malic Acid should be of particular interest to anyone engaged in training for endurance events such as long distance running, or cycling. As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 800mg, daily preferably with a meal.
The dietary choices of all our customers are extremely important to us. Whilst this product is manufactured using ingredients and processing aids suitable for the vegan diet, please note that dairy powders are also used within the same production facility and cross contamination may occur at very small levels.
Please note that the labelling on this product is provided in English as a minimum. French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish and Finnish may also be present on a product by product basis.
Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add 800mg, shake and consume. Use once daily.
Note: We advise that all servings are measured using an accurate set of scales. While we make every attempt to provide an accurate equivalent measure using our Myprotein scoops, these are only approximate and are not a substitute for using a standardised measuring device.
