Micellar Casein is a slow release protein, providing 24g of protein per serving. Forming a thick gel of micelles in the stomach, Micellar Casein is absorbed slowly, enabling a tapered release of amino acids into the bloodstream. This makes Micellar Casein the ideal protein supplement for between meals and before bed, to ensure that recovering muscles are provided with a constant stream of muscle rebuilding amino acids. This will prevent the onset of catabolism, which is vital in preventing muscle degradation.
